Obscura marks its 11th year of existence with the publication of its 11th issue, in which readers will find more than two dozen inspiring texts addressing various facets of historical scholarship and related disciplines. The issue includes both scholarly and popularizing articles that discuss problems of human society from the Middle Ages to the present day. Readers can also look forward to a new feature: some texts—typically those responding to breaking news from the world of history—are now published exclusively in an online version.
